Strato’s MAX F-Knuckle Passes AAR Fatigue Life Specification

Strato, Inc., a manufacturer of products for the rail industry, has announced that its F-Style knuckle (F51AE) has passed the Association of American Railroads (AAR) M-216 fatigue life cycle test, which requires an average fatigue life of at least 600,000 cycles. 

“The addition of our M-216 F-knuckle to the StratoMAX product line supports our commitment to provide a superior coupler system that the longer, faster trains in service need today,” remarked Mike Foxx, Strato president and chief executive officer. 

The StratoMAX product line includes AAR M-216 E-knuckles and M-216 F-knuckles, couplers and coupler components.
