ShipXpress Expands Sales Team

ShipXpress Inc., a provider of rail-related software and service solutions, has announced the appointment of two new members of its sales team. The company on Feb. 16 named John Flournoy and David Kennedy vice presidents of sales and marketing.

Flournoy brings years of sales experience in the rail industry to ShipXpress, including marketing of fleet management services with Trinity Industries and General Electric as well as CSXT. He will be based in the Cincinnati area and work with large industrial customers to tailor the company's web-based products to their needs.

Kennedy joins ShipXpress after time with CSXT and an ethanol marketing company. He will work out of Jacksonville and will be planning, organizing and implementing the development of specialized service offerings to the ethanol industry.

"The continued expansion of our service offerings has created the need for a larger sales force. John's experience in all aspects of rail services, and Dave's deep knowledge of the ethanol industry supply chain needs will ensure we provide the maximum value for our growing customer base," said Charith Perera, president and CEO of ShipXpress.
