New York Air Brake LLC (NYAB) has appointed Greg Dalpe senior vice president sales and marketing. He succeeds Jason Connell, who was named president and CEO of NYAB’s sister rail division company, Knorr Brake Company, at the beginning of the year.
Dalpe joined NYAB in 2015 as operations director and, in January 2018, was named vice president operations and a member of the company’s senior leadership committee. He has 15 years of leadership experience across a variety of regulated industrial manufacturing segments, including the deployment of global operational excellence business systems focused within manufacturing and supply chain operations. Prior to NYAB, Dalpe was a divisional quality manager and director of operations for ONEX Corporation.
Dalpe earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Rhode Island College and a master’s degree in operations design and leadership from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
“In his tenure with NYAB, Greg has distinguished himself as a leader and an executive with a customer-first approach,” said Ulisses Camilo, NYAB president and CEO. “The combination of his operational and marketing acumen will help deliver solutions with true impact for stakeholders across our industry.”
“His efforts – in partnership with our rail customers and the many talented New York Air Brake team members – will enable us to advance our mission of providing integrated technology and innovative solutions focused on delivering unequaled reliability, performance, and return on investment,” added Camilo.
