MacMahon Appointed Vice President, Business Development and Strategy, at FreightCar America

FreightCar America, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAIL), on Jan. 6 announced the appointment of Michael D. MacMahon as vice president, business development and strategy. MacMahon will serve as part of the company's leadership team and continue to be based at FreightCar America's Johnstown, Penn., location. He succeeds Charles Magolske, who left the company in December 2009.

MacMahon, 43, joined FreightCar America, Inc. in 2005 as a controller in the company's finance organization, and he has since held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, product and commercial program management, and international sales. He most recently served as vice president of marketing and international sales. MacMahon's experience before coming to FreightCar America included positions with Kinder Morgan, Inc, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
