Scott Carroll has joined Mitsui Rail Capital, LLC (MRC) as a director of sales and marketing.
He moves to MRC from another railcar leasing company, where he served as regional manager of sales for the Rail Equipment Group. Based in Cincinnati, and reporting to Joe McNeely, MRC's vice president of sales and marketing, Carroll will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing activities for the southwestern region of the U. S. as well as Mexico.
Carroll has nearly ten years of sales experience, including four years spent in the railcar leasing market. Chicago-based MRC is a leading railcar leasing company, and a fleet management and maintenance services provider to the North American transport market. It has a fleet of nearly 10,000 railcars.
