The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) Metro-North Railroad crews will make improvements to the upper Harlem Line in the area between Cortlandt and Peekskill during the weekends of September 15-16 and September 22-23.
Schedule adjustments on the two weekends will allow crews to surface the interlocking near Cortlandt station and weld track. The work will require single-track operation for a distance of 11.5 miles between the area north of Croton-Harmon and Manitou. Special service notices are available at www.mta.info/mnr in the upper center of the page. Local trains operating between Grand Central Terminal and Croton-Harmon will run on a regular weekend schedule.
