The League of Railway Industry Women's 12th Annual Spring Conference will be held in Tacoma, Washington on June 17-19. This marks the LRIW's third annual conference on the West Coast, following conferences in Portland and Sacramento.
The conference, which is sponsored by Tacoma Rail, will include a train tour of the Port of Tacoma, Pierce County Intermodal Terminal, Tacoma Rail yards and of Coast Engine and Equipment Co. (CEECO), a leading repair and rebuild shop for locomotives and railcars. Educational sessions will feature presentations from TTCI and from RailWorks.
