Jones to Retire from Atlantic Track & Turnout

Thomas R. Jones is retiring after 40 years of service with Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. and almost 50 years in the railroad industry.  He will stay on with the company in a limited capacity through the end of this year.

He began his railroad career as a salesperson for Bethlehem Steel in Pittsburgh, where he worked from 1962 through 1969.  In 1969, Jones joined Atlantic Track & Turnout in Bloomfield, N.J., as a salesperson.  He went on to hold several key positions within the company as sales manager, director of marketing, vice president of operations, vice president, and, finally, senior vice president.
