JMA To Represent Heyl & Patterson

JMA Railroad Supply has signed a long-term agreement with Heyl & Patterson Inc. to market and supply the company's products to the railroad industry.

Heyl & Patterson, based in Pittsburgh, manufactures material handling equipment, including railcar dumpers and support options for offloading railcars. It offers the CUBTM, a unique railcar and locomotive moving device. Using a steel runway that is bolted to the ties adjacent to the track rail, the CUB is an electromechanical machine that can move up to 13 railcars at a time.

This marks JMA Railroad Supply's second new major manufacturers' representative agreement in the last year. Its other addition was Parker domnick hunter, which makes a range of filtration products and air dryers for compressed air systems on locomotives and other rolling stock.

Chicago-based JMA represents 13 manufacturers of locomotive, car and maintenance-of-way components and parts to the railroad industry.
