BNSF Railway Company and CSX Intermodal have expanded their intermodal container service to new locations in the Southeast, including Charleston, S.C.; Savannah, Ga.; and Miami, Orlando and Tampa, Fla., in addition to current eastern hubs at Atlanta; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Charlotte, N.C.
This expansion builds upon a 2006 agreement between BNSF and CSXI to provide improved service to customers for shipments between the West Coast, Atlanta and other Southeast destinations.
