“This is an exciting new era for Railroad Signal,” said Rachel Burns, director of domestic and international sales for the company. “We are very proud of our new web site and the new options our customers have to communicate and do business with us.”
Eddie Burns, owner and president of Railroad Signal, noted that the company has increased its sales volume in the last two years and has also moved to a larger facility. According to Mr. Burns, “Business is booming in our railroad construction and maintenance area, particularly on the maintenance side.”
The company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has 54 employees and is expected to add an additional 10 or more employees in 2013, including positions in international sales.
The web site has been rebuilt from top to bottom with enhancements in functionality and content. One of the new features is an employment opportunities page, where details of current job openings are posted. The web site offers detailed information on all of the products/services the company offers and includes a new online catalog ordering system so customers can buy products via their own shopping carts. It also features functionality for customers to request a quote or more information on Railroad Signal’s products.
Because of the new web site, all company email addresses have also changed to railroadsignalintl.com.
