Keolis North America Names Herlick General Counsel

Susan Herlick has been named General Counsel of Keolis North America where she will direct Keolis’ legal, compliance and regulatory affairs for the company’s North American operations.

Prior to joining Keolis, Herlick served as general counsel and corporate secretary for Orbital Sciences Corporation. Her responsibilities included advising the company’s corporate staff and operating groups on diverse legal matters, with an emphasis on corporate law and business transactions involving commercial and government entities. Earlier in her career, she was a lawyer for Hogan Lovells in their Washington, D.C., offices.

Eric Asselin, general manager of Keolis North America, said, “Susan’s wealth of corporate legal experience working with government clients makes her a perfect fit for Keolis North America as we continue winning new public transportation contracts and expanding our operations.”

Herlick earned her law degree with high honors from George Washington University and earned a B.A. in economics at Carleton College in Minnesota.

“Safe and efficient public transit systems are important for economic development, and present interesting legal circumstances and opportunities along the way,” said Herlick. “I’m pleased to become part of the North American senior leadership team as they’re achieving such exceptional growth in our region and across the U.S. and Canada.”
